Job description


Independence Title Company in the Austin, Texas area, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services is seeking a Title Support Clerk. Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
The Title Support Clerk is responsible for:
  • Review surveys on real property in support of closing transactions, incorporating necessary exceptions into title commitments.
  • Perform daily updates or bring-to-dates as requested by Escrow staff, Examiners, and/or Title Officers in anticipation of closing transactions.
  • Make necessary changes to title commitments based on updated title information.
  • Distribute files to an Examiner or Title Officer for further assistance when appropriate.
  • Convert title commitments as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Title Operations.
