Role Description

The Real Estate Junior Purchase Processor supports the coordination of residential purchase closings. This role assists senior processors by completing administrative tasks, maintaining file accuracy, and communicating with internal teams and external parties to help ensure timely closings.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to client and customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner, escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Assist with reviewing title binders for basic issues and flag items such as liens, judgments, or open mortgages for senior review.
  • Review purchase contracts for key information including commissions, concessions, and closing terms, and update files accordingly.
  • Help gather payoff information, HOA data, utility bills, and other required documentation needed for closing.
  • Order standard services such as surveys, payoffs, and inspections as directed.
  • Run required searches such as bankruptcy and Patriot Act checks, ensuring results are uploaded to the file.
  • Prepare basic closing documents using templates, including affidavits and standard forms, for review by senior staff.
  • Assist in balancing settlement statements by entering fees and verifying figures against invoices.
  • Support closing scheduling by coordinating with buyers, sellers, agents, and notaries.
  • Prepare and assemble closing packages for signatures, either electronically or in hard copy.
  • Track receipt of signed documents and follow up with parties as needed.
  • Provide support to post-closing by organizing files and assisting with recording and disbursement tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized files in accordance with company procedures.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior administrative, customer service, or real estate support experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of real estate transactions is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn title and escrow software.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Physical Requirements

Schedule

  • Core business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Monday through Friday
  • 40 hours per week

  • Remote position, with priority given to candidates currently residing in the following approved payroll states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NE, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, & WY.
  • May be able to work in-office at our Virginia Beach, VA, if local.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
