Job description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Title Examiner to join our fast-paced and collaborative title team. If you have a strong background in examining real estate records, a knack for spotting title issues, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Examine public records and title documents for residential and/or commercial properties
  • Identify any title issues such as liens, encumbrances, easements, or ownership discrepancies
  • Prepare title commitments, reports, and curative requirements
  • Communicate effectively with underwriters, closers, abstractors, and clients to resolve title issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the title process

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Title Examiner (multi-state or complex commercial experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of title standards, legal descriptions, and public record retrieval
  • Familiarity with title production software (e.g., Resware, SoftPro, RamQuest, etc.)
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
