Role: Program Manager
Exp: 15+ Years
Duration: 1+ Years Contract ( with Posible Extention)
Location: Hartford, CT ( its Hybrid role - Need availability when client needs)
Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM (1 hour lunch - some flexibility in schedule)
Remote work is allowed as coordinated with IT Director and IT Supervisor.
The Client is looking to fill a Program Manager position to provide oversight, support, and successful implementation of all current projects. There are roughly 40 projects currently in the PMO project queue.
Specific Services Required
Project Management process definition and documentation.
Document project summaries and statuses.
Review projects' scope, timelines, and resources.
Provide executive summaries for presentations
Facilitate weekly/bi-weekly PMO meetings
Provide expert fit gap analysis to ensure successful project implementation.
Required Skills/Experience
At least 15 years of experience in Project Management.
Experience with software development projects including SaaS implementations.
Experience with hardware implementations and rollouts.
Need to be schedule and goal oriented.
Good customer, peer, and department staff relationship skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Vendor management skills.
Familiarity with infrastructure and hardware architecture.
Ability to multitask, self-motivate and work independently.
2. ADMINISTRATIVE CONSIDERATIONS
Deliverables:
  1. Create, monitor, and oversee the overall detailed project plan for multiple projects.
  2. Coordinate meetings and manage resources across multiple departments.
  3. Keep IT Director & senior management informed of progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Coordinate meetings and ensure deliverables are met.
  5. Knowledge of PMO methodologies.
  6. Take direction from IT Director for prioritization of work.
  7. Create, edit and follow-up on project plans and budgets.
  8. Assist in the identification of resource allocation issues and identify corrective actions.
  9. Ability to see the "big picture" and make collaborative operational and business recommendations.

General/Miscellaneous:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly articulate technical matters to non-technical staff.
