We're actively seeking a talented Technology Manager, Partner Integrations to join our Workforce Benefits Division in our Charlotte, NC office. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Technology Manager, Partner Integrations serves as the people manager for the Integration/API Engineering team and the technical leader for the Partnerships value stream within Workforce Benefits. This role is accountable for MuleSoft platform health, integration architecture, and team delivery, while also providing endtoend technical leadership for Partnership solutions through crossfunctional influence, architecture stewardship, and design authority.

How you will help move us forward:

MuleSoft Platform & People Leadership

  • Act as the domain technical lead for integrations, establishing platform standards, architecture patterns, and integration best practices.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the integration engineering team, including API engineers and related integration roles.
  • Set expectations, manage capacity, conduct performance reviews, and develop team capabilities within an agile / scaledagile model.
  • Ensure the team delivers secure, scalable, reliable APIled and data integration solutions aligned to enterprise standards.

Partnerships Value Stream - Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the technical leader for the Partnerships value stream, owning endtoend technical solution design across APIs, services, integration workflows, and data flows.
  • Partner with product managers, business leaders, architects, delivery, and enterprise teams to translate partnership needs into executable technical designs.
  • Provide architectural direction, design review, and technical decisionmaking across initiatives supporting external partners.
  • Influence implementation teams across domains through standards, guidance, and handson design leadership.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Define and govern integration and solution architecture artifacts, including diagrams, sequence flows, data mappings, and technical specifications.
  • Apply modern integration patterns, including RESTful APIs, eventdriven architectures, batch/filebased integrations, and ETL processes.
  • Ensure consistency and reuse across integration solutions supporting both internal systems and thirdparty partners.

Quality, Operations & Governance

  • Establish testing, release, and quality standards to minimize production defects and support reliable delivery.
  • Serve as the escalation point for MuleSoftrelated production incidents, driving rootcause analysis and resolution.
  • Define and enforce integration governance covering API lifecycle management, versioning, security, and documentation.
  • Partner with enterprise security and platform teams to ensure compliance with network, application, data, and identity security requirements.

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in application integration, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience as a people manager, specifically leading engineering or platform teams.
  • Strong handson expertise with integration platforms and modern integration patterns (REST APIs, eventdriven, filebased).
  • Experience providing technical leadership for crossfunctional value streams without direct line management.
  • Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
  • Background in regulated industries such as insurance or financial services preferred.

  • Experience supporting B2B or external partner platforms.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, ETL frameworks, or enterprise scheduling tools.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$167,850.00 - $205,150.00
