Job description

The Product Manager, Partner Portals is responsible for supporting the strategy, roadmap, and execution of user-facing portal experiences for manufacturer partners, channel partners, and distributors. This role works closely with engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly product capabilities that support business growth and operational efficiency.

The Product Manager will help translate business needs, customer feedback, usage data, and stakeholder priorities into clear product requirements and actionable development plans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, understands how to balance competing priorities, and is comfortable partnering closely with both technical teams and business users.

This position is based in the Waltham, MA office and is expected to work in-office three days per week to support close collaboration with local business, sales, customer success, and product stakeholders. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

  • Support the product roadmap for manufacturer, channel partner, and distributor portal experiences.
  • Partner with product leadership and business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, user needs, and operational goals.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize product requirements for new features, enhancements, integrations, and user experience improvements.
  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, including discovery, refinement, sprint planning, delivery, testing, release, and post-launch analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, analytics, design, and operations teams to ensure successful product adoption and communication.
  • Help identify opportunities to consolidate legacy systems, improve workflows, and create a more unified portal experience.
  • Monitor product usage, engagement, adoption, and retention metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with defining and tracking key product health metrics, including active users, feature adoption, module usage, retention, and issue resolution trends.
  • Triage bugs, urgent issues, and enhancement requests in partnership with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate roadmap updates, delivery status, risks, tradeoffs, and product decisions to internal stakeholders.
  • Support user onboarding, education, and adoption initiatives in partnership with customer-facing teams.
  • Conduct user interviews, stakeholder discussions, and feedback sessions to better understand customer and business needs.
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with longer-term product quality, scalability, and usability goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

About you:

  • Strong product management skills, including requirements gathering, prioritization, roadmap support, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to translate business needs and user feedback into clear product requirements and development priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, analytics, and business teams.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and discussing product requirements, tradeoffs, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret product usage data and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Experience with agile product development practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Comfortable working with both local in-office stakeholders and distributed technical teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong interest in improving user experience, adoption and business outcomes. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, product operations, or a related role.
  • Experience working with software products, web applications, portals, SaaS platforms, or internal/external business systems preferred.
  • Experience working with engineering teams in an agile development environment preferred.
  • Experience with B2B products, partner portals, distributor networks, supply chain, foodservice, or marketplace platforms is a plus.
  • Experience using product analytics, customer feedback, and stakeholder input to inform product decisions is preferred.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong interest in improving user experience, adoption, and business outcomes.
