What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Manager Partner role typically requires extensive experience and strong leadership skills rather than formal education, and it can potentially earn $10,000 or more monthly through profit sharing, commissions, or business ownership. Such high earnings are often associated with entrepreneurial ventures, sales management, or executive positions in certain industries where performance and network are key. However, reaching this income level without a degree usually depends on proven success, industry demand, and skill set rather than formal qualifications alone.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Manager Partner, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Manager Partner, you need strong leadership, strategic planning, and business management skills, often supported by a degree in business administration or related field and significant management experience. Familiarity with CRM systems, financial analysis tools, and project management software is typically required. Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities help build successful partnerships and lead teams effectively. These skills ensure effective collaboration, drive business growth, and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

What are Manager Partners?

Manager Partners are professionals who hold both managerial and partnership roles within a company or organization. They are typically responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and contributing to high-level decision-making. Their dual role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to balance operational responsibilities with long-term planning.

A Manager Partner often acts as a strategic bridge between their organization and external partners, frequently collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and customer success. This role involves facilitating communication, aligning partner strategies with business goals, and ensuring smooth execution of joint initiatives. Regular meetings, joint planning sessions, and shared performance metrics are common practices to foster collaboration and drive mutual success. Job description

Tennis Channel is everywhere fans are - across MVPDs, dMVPDs, smart TVs, FAST platforms, and streaming platforms. As our distribution landscape expands, so do the opportunities to grow our audience and deepen engagement. We're hiring a Manager, Partner Management to activate and manage those partner programs. If you're equal parts organized, analytical, and relationship-minded, this is your chance to make a big impact on a small, high-performing team.

Reporting to the Director, Partner Management, this role supports the full partner ecosystem by driving co-marketing programs, optimizing performance, coordinating campaign assets, and ensuring seamless execution across our highest-growth platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity to be at the center of Tennis Channel's distribution growth strategy. You'll play a critical role in activating partner programs, optimizing performance, and elevating how our content shows up across every screen. With exposure to top-tier partners and senior leaders, this role offers meaningful ownership, visibility, and room to grow.

This role is onsite in our Santa Monica, CA office.

In this role, you will:

Support the Partner Lifecycle

  • Assist in onboarding new distribution partners, including launch planning, asset coordination, and internal cross-functional alignment.
  • Help monitor performance across platforms-tracking viewership, ad metrics, subscription KPIs, and promotional delivery.
  • Maintain day-to-day communication with partner contacts at Amazon, Roku, Samsung, Pluto, YouTube TV, and others.

Activate Partner Programs

  • Build and manage partner toolkits, evergreen assets, seasonal creative, and turnkey go-to-market materials.
  • Coordinate asset trafficking, timelines, and approvals to ensure all deliverables are fulfilled on time.
  • Execute promotional campaigns across CTV, FAST, MVPD/dMVPD partners, and more.

Drive Reporting & Insights

  • Pull data from sources such as Amagi, Conviva, and Google Analytics to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Package insights into clear, executive-ready dashboards and partner recaps.
  • Surface trends, opportunities, and recommendations that inform partner strategy.

Increase On-Platform Visibility

  • Help track and fulfill earned placements, contractual marketing obligations, and promotional opportunities.
  • Assist with DTC subscription offers, exposure planning, and visibility calendars.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with Distribution, Growth Marketing, Programming, and Product teams to align platform priorities.
  • Support the Director in building scalable processes, templates, and resource-light systems that improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all initiatives ladder up to broader revenue and audience goals.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in partner management, digital distribution, streaming, or performance marketing
  • Knowledge of key platforms (Amazon, Roku, Samsung, Pluto, YouTube TV, etc.) and an understanding of CTV/FAST/MVPD ecosystems
  • Experience coordinating cross-platform campaigns, asset workflows, and co-marketing initiatives
  • Comfortable navigating analytics tools and performance metrics (MAUs, ad fill, watch time, LTV, churn)
  • Strong project management and communication skills-you can organize complex workflows and communicate clearly with partners and internal teams
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative spirit and desire to support and grow in a high-visibility, high-impact function
