Job description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Mailroom Machine Operators in the Getzville, NY area. The Mailroom Machine Operator would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Mailroom Machine Operator Schedule:

  • 6:30am – 2:30pm EST with Saturday-Wednesday shift (Thursday/Friday off) – except when a holiday falls on Thur/Fri then days rotate.

Mailroom Machine Operator Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $20 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

  • Operate letter inserting equipment, check output for quality. Requires Ability to stand frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Printing large PDF’s and inserting the output into envelopes using mail production equipment, focusing on quality that is line with HIPAA standards.
  • Produce mail-pieces using automated inserting technology.
  • Operate folding machines, cutter and bindery equipment.
  • Operate machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into envelopes.
  • Maintain equipment using provided maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain optimal level of productivity.

Mailroom Machine Operator Requirements

  • Ability to stand frequently and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
