Job title: Mailing Machine Operator โ€“ Any Shift

Work Location: 672 Crescent St. Brockton, MA

Division/Department: Production

Reports to: Production Manager

n Full-time 37.5 hours

o Part-time

o Exempt

n Nonexempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate various High Speed Mailing Machine
  • Processing Customersโ€™ Daily Mail
  • Familiarity with either Pitney Bowes of Neopost technologies
  • Should be knowledgeable in US Postal Rates and Mail Classifications
  • Prefer experience with chargeback systems for departmentalized accounting
  • Necessary to balance postage accounts funds to settle daily
  • Minor work station housekeeping duties
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Shows initiative to learn additional duties; willing to expand value to the company
  • High school diploma, GED required or Trade School
  • Associate degree preferred
