Mailing Machine Operator - Kirk Rudy Inkjet & Tabbing

For over 60 years (since 1965), Interprint Web Printing has set the standard in print and direct mail excellence. We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Mail Machine Operator to take charge of our high-speed mailing lines.

If you have hands-on experience setting up and running Kirk Rudy mailing and tabbing equipment—or comparable high-speed direct mail/inkjet systems—we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Master Machine Setup: Configure and fine-tune Kirk Rudy mailing and tabbing lines for each specific USPS mailing job.
  • Software & Hardware Operation: Run machine interface software and Kirk Rudy operating programs to keep production running smoothly.
  • USPS Standards: Apply working knowledge of USPS rules, regulations, and procedures for common mail classes.
  • Troubleshoot & Adjust: Perform real-time adjustments and minor troubleshooting during production runs to maintain peak efficiency.
  • Precision Processing: Process direct mail accurately according to front-end presorted files and job specs.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain sharp attention to detail to ensure clean inkjet output, proper tabbing, and correct bundling.


What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

  • Hands-on Experience: Direct experience operating Kirk Rudy mailing/tabbing systems OR similar high-speed mailing machinery (e.g., Buskro, Domino, MCS, Cheshire, etc.).
  • Technical Savvy: Comfort working with equipment control software and mail processing files.
  • Reliability & Drive: A dependable, quality-focused work ethic with clear communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Commercial print or bindery knowledge is a strong bonus, but not required.
