Reporting to an Impact Director and working from a partner school(s), the IM plays a critical role in implementing City Year's school-based Whole School Whole Child (WSWC) service model, mission, and practices. The IM is also an effective talent developer who will support AmeriCorps members through a challenging and rewarding year of service.Job Description

TeamManagement

Monitor performance through consistent check-ins, clear expectations, andtimelyfeedback to address challenges, balancing accountability withthe developmental needs of early-career adults.
Mentorstudent success coachesthrough career exploration anddecisionmaking, helping them clarify theirpostservicegoals and build skills and networks to pursue their next step.
Ensurestudent success coachessuccessfully meetAmeriCorpsservice requirements, including service hours, documentation, and adherence to prohibited activities and program policies.
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that supports collaboration and belonging.
Service Delivery &Impact
Lead team in implementingCityYear's servicemodel,including classroom support,individualizedtutoring, schoolwide initiatives, extended learning time, and other supports aligned to school priorities.
Coachteam members to deliver differentiated tutoring and coaching for students in English-Language Arts, math, and interpersonal skills development.
Use and interpret student- and program-level data toidentifytrends, guide coaching priorities, and inform decisions with school partners.
Ensureaccurateandtimelycollection and entry of service and student data.
School Partner Management
Serve as the primary liaison between City Year and the school, building strong relationships with principals, teachers, and staff to align service with school prioritiesand follow through on shared decisions.
Participate in regular meetings with school leadership and partners to discuss progress, needs, and conditions for success.
Collaboration & Learning
Collaborate effectively with teammates to achieve sitewidegoals and foster an inclusive environment.
Contribute to corps member learning by leading or cofacilitating training sessions duringstart-ofyearonboarding and ongoing learning & development days.
Reinforce centralized training throughonthejobcoaching, reflection, and team learning activities.
Role model a growth mindset and commitment to City Year's culture andvaluesas a leader within a youth-serving organization.
Performadditionalresponsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor to advance City Year's mission.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coaching, supervising, or developing young adults
Experience working in schools or youth development settings
Experience using data to inform decisions
Knowledge of local school district contextisa plus
City Year/AmeriCorps experience is a plus

Working Conditions
Works primarily on-site at 2 partner schools, withadditionaltime spent at the City Year office for meetings, trainings, and team gatherings.
Follows a schedule aligned with school-day hours(typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.), with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours for events,trainings, or service days.
Require travel between multiple school sites within the district and occasional local travel for City Year events.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, youth-centered school environment, with a noise level that can range from moderate to high.
Occasional lifting or carrying of materials (e.g., event supplies, training materials) up to ~20 lbs.
Reliable transportation to and from school sites and office locations is required.[Requires a valid driver's license for travel as part of job dutiesand/or ability and willingness to navigate public transit system.]
Compensation
The salary for this position is $54,000 annually. Compensation is commensurate with experience and aligned with internal equity practices.
