Job description

The Hotel Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure a high standard of guest service and efficient management. This role involves supervising a large team of over 16 staff, managing day-to-day functions, coordinating events, and maintaining quality control. The position offers a clear path for career advancement with opportunities to be promoted to Hotel Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a large team of 16+ staff members
  • Deliver exceptional guest services and resolve complaints promptly
  • Manage inventory, schedules, and budgets effectively
  • Coordinate training and development programs for staff
  • Ensure quality control across all hotel departments
  • Plan and oversee event coordination activities
  • Liaise with vendors and manage related communications
  • Prepare and submit operational reports to the General Manager

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in hotel management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food Handlers Card
  • OLCC certification
