Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Account/Sales Executive to drive business growth and expand their client base within the insurance industry. This role focuses on selling insurance licensing and compliance SaaS platform to agents, agencies, carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and other insurance distribution models. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong experience in software/SaaS sales, and a proven track record of closing new business and exceeding sales targets. Experience with insurance compliance and licensing is a plus. This is direct hire onsite opportunity in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance sector.
  • Generate and qualify leads through email outreach, cold calling, networking, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the value of the company; our licensing and compliance solution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers at insurance agencies, carriers, and MGAs, and other insurance distribution models.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain a high-value pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, referrals, and professional networking.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and revenue targets.

Own the Full Sales Cycle:

  • Manage the entire sales process - from prospecting and qualifying to presenting and closing new business opportunities with B2B brands, agencies, carriers, and MGAs.
  • New Business Development - build and maintain a high-value sales pipeline through a mix of outbound cold outreach, inbound leads, and professional networking.
  • Deeply understand customer needs, challenges, and pain points; effectively communicate and demonstrate measurable ROI and value propositions of our licensing and compliance solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and conversion rates using CRM tools.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass sales quotas, revenue targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with marketing and customer success teams to align sales strategies, share client insights, and ensure a seamless handoff and exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead-generation efforts.
  • Manage and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking within HubSpot CRM.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B software/SaaS sales experience, preferably selling to enterprise or mid-market organizations. 
  • Must have experience selling Software and/or SaaS products.
  • Enterprise sales experience preferred, including experience managing longer sales cycles and selling to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based, or value-driven selling methodologies preferred.
  • Experience navigating and negotiating pricing discussions.
  • Proven success with outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and self-generated pipeline development.
  • Experience with insurance licensing processes, compliance regulations, and industry organizations (NAIC, NIPR) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver effective product demos and sales presentations.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance KPIs.
