As a Leasing Assistant, you will serve as the welcoming face and first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high occupancy rates by showcasing our varied housing options, guiding applicants through the leasing process, and ensuring a seamless move-in experience. The ideal candidate is an organized, customer-focused, and enthusiastic professional with a passion for real estate and community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Tours & Leasing: Warmly greet prospective residents and corporate clients. Conduct in-person and virtual property tours, highlighting the unique features and amenities of our short-term, long-term, and corporate units.
- Application Processing: Guide prospective tenants through the application process.
- Marketing & Outreach: Assist in keeping online property listings accurate and up-to-date. Help identify local marketing opportunities to attract medical professionals, corporate travelers, and long-term renters.
- Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with our Property Maintenance Technicians to enter work orders, follow up on repairs, and ensure all units are impeccably turned and ready for new arrivals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or residential property management.
- Bonus Experience: Background in short-term rentals or corporate housing is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Warm, professional, and outgoing demeanor.
- Organization: High attention to detail and strong multi-tasking capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and navigating property management or CRM software.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of Fair Housing regulations (training provided if needed).
- Mobility: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel between local properties in the Evansville area.
