How does a learning solutions specialist typically collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective training programs?

A Learning Solutions Specialist often works closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content is both accurate and engaging. This collaboration usually involves conducting needs assessments, co-designing course materials, and reviewing content for technical accuracy and instructional effectiveness. Regular meetings and feedback sessions are common, allowing the specialist to translate complex information into accessible learning modules. Building strong relationships with SMEs is crucial, as it helps align training objectives with organizational goals and ensures the final product meets learners' needs.
