Working at Pernod Ricard is all about igniting conviviality in all that we do. Derived from the French word, convivialité...it means human connection, authenticity, friendly, and jovial. Conviviality is energy and spirit with a splash of je ne sais quoi and is a core philosophy around how we live and work at Pernod Ricard.
Guided by our 4 core values: (1) grounded in the real; (2) fiercely authentic; (3) passion for challenge; and (4) connected beyond borders; we are team players, dream makers, trailblazers, movers and (cocktail) shakers. We have a passion for living life to the fullest, making new friends every day, and realizing our potential as people and as a business!
The salary range for this role, based in Kentucky, is $87,520.00 to $109,400.00. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Job Summary:
The Learning & Development Manager, Operations will design and deliver learning programs that strengthen capability, performance, and operational excellence across Pernod Ricard's Operations organization. This role will partner closely with Operations leaders to identify skill gaps, build practical training solutions, and ensure employees have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to perform at their best.
Based in Louisville, Kentucky, this role will support manufacturing and operations teams through a mix of in-person, digital, and technology-enabled learning. The ideal candidate brings strong L&D expertise, a practical understanding of manufacturing environments, and a passion for building programs that drive measurable impact. This role reports to the Head of Talent, Development & Culture.
Who will love this job:
You're a collaborative learning professional who knows how to turn business needs into clear, practical, and engaging training solutions. You enjoy working closely with the business, building trust with leaders, and understanding what teams need to perform safely, consistently, and effectively.
You're energized by the opportunity to support Operations in a hands-on way, from identifying capability gaps to designing learning content, managing programs, and measuring impact. You're curious, digitally fluent, inclusive, and comfortable using data, feedback, and technology to continuously improve the learning experience.
What you'll do:
Build Learning Programs That Strengthen Operations Capability
  • Partner with Operations leaders to assess capability needs, identify training gaps, and prioritize learning solutions that support business goals.
  • Design and deliver practical learning programs for manufacturing and operations teams, including instructor-led, digital, and blended learning experiences.
  • Create learning content, facilitator guides, job aids, and other tools that help employees apply new skills in their day-to-day work.

Enable Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
  • Align learning initiatives to key operational priorities, including performance, productivity, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Support consistent training practices across Operations by helping standardize content, processes, and documentation where appropriate.
  • Use feedback, learning data, and business insights to evaluate program effectiveness and refine solutions over time.

Manage Learning Systems, Tools, and Stakeholder Partnerships
  • Use Learning Management Systems, including Workday Learning, to administer, track, and optimize training programs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and subject matter experts to develop and implement effective learning solutions.
  • Leverage digital tools, AI-enabled learning platforms, and analytics to enhance the learning experience and improve visibility into training impact.

What's in it for me?
Being part of an inclusive and diverse company where professional development and internal career mobility is front-and-center to our talent strategy. This means your career at Pernod Ricard has many possibilities.
