Description

Shape the future of dental education.

At Spear Education, we're passionate about transforming dentistry through exceptional clinical education. As our Manager, Clinical Learning Programs, you'll be the operational leader who keeps our clinically focused learning programs moving from concept to launch—partnering with renowned clinicians, cross-functional teams, and innovative technology to deliver world-class educational experiences.

If you're energized by bringing structure to complex projects, collaborating with subject matter experts, and using data to improve outcomes, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how thousands of dental professionals learn.

What You'll Do:

Own the Production Calendar

You'll oversee the day-to-day execution of Spear's clinical learning production calendar across multiple learning formats, ensuring programs launch on time without compromising quality.

  • Manage the master production calendar for clinical learning programs
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and production progress
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact delivery

Partner with Clinical Subject Matter Experts

You'll serve as the primary operational partner for contracted clinical SMEs throughout the content development process.

  • Coordinate review cycles, feedback, and approvals
  • Manage scheduling, expectations, and communication
  • Support SMEs as they adopt AI-assisted content development workflows
  • Ensure clinical content maintains Spear's high standards for quality and accuracy

You'll help implement innovative production workflows while improving efficiency across our content development process.

  • Support rollout of AI-enhanced production tools and processes
  • Pilot new workflows and recommend operational improvements
  • Identify recurring challenges and propose scalable solutions
  • Help reduce production delays through consistent processes and quality standards

You'll go beyond production management by helping us understand how learners engage with our content.

  • Monitor engagement, completion, and viewership data
  • Identify trends and opportunities to strengthen learning experiences
  • Partner with teams across the organization to connect online learning with live education experiences
  • Provide insights that inform future curriculum and content decisions

Collaborate Across the Organization

Success in this role depends on strong partnerships.

You'll work closely with Instructional Design, Digital Content, Product, Platform, and Clinical teams to keep programs moving while proactively addressing cross-functional dependencies.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in project, program, or production management within content development, education, healthcare, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating work with subject matter experts, contractors, vendors, or technical professionals
  • Ability to quickly learn and confidently work with clinical or technical subject matter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar tools
  • Comfort interpreting engagement or performance data to inform planning and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Experience in dental continuing education or the dental industry
  • Experience supporting production of online learning, blended learning, or video-based educational content
  • Familiarity with learning analytics or content engagement reporting tools
  • Experience implementing or supporting AI-enabled workflows

What Makes You Successful

You're someone who:

  • Brings order to complex, fast-moving work
  • Builds trust with clinicians and subject matter experts
  • Anticipates problems before they become roadblocks
  • Enjoys improving processes and finding more efficient ways to work
  • Is naturally curious and comfortable adopting new technology
  • Uses data - not assumptions - to drive decisions
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment where priorities evolve

Why Spear?

At Spear, we're redefining dental education through innovative learning experiences that combine world-class clinical expertise with technology and research-backed learning design. You'll join a collaborative team committed to helping dental professionals grow, improve patient care, and build thriving practices.

If you're excited about combining project leadership, educational innovation, and meaningful collaboration to shape the future of clinical learning, we'd love to hear from you.
