Wieland is hiring a Sr. Strategic Learning Partner. The Sr. Strategic Learning Partner will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise learning and development programs that strengthen organizational capability, workforce readiness, employee performance, and operational excellence. This role partners cross-functionally with business leaders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs, build scalable learning strategies, and implement effective development solutions across instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning environments. The position serves as a strategic learning partner supporting organizational change and continuous improvement efforts..

This role is an individual contributor position responsible for providing leadership through enterprise learning initiatives, project ownership, facilitation expertise, and strategic influence across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This role will be based out of Louisville, KY and will be fully remote. While this role is fully remote, occasional travel to other locations will be required (25% travel). 

Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 per year.

May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.

Sr. Strategic Learning Partner Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise learning and development programs aligned with business strategy, workforce capability needs, and operational priorities.
  • Conduct organizational, functional, and role-based training needs analyses to identify performance gaps and recommend scalable development solutions.
  • Design and deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning programs utilizing adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop technical, operational, leadership, compliance, and systems-based training programs.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learner engagement activities while coaching leaders and subject matter experts on effective training delivery practices.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through metrics, learner assessments, operational performance indicators, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Manage multiple complex learning initiatives simultaneously, ensuring successful execution, stakeholder alignment, process governance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Sr. Strategic Learning Partner Qualifications:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with learning management systems, Articulate Storyline, content creation tools, and Microsoft Office Products.
  • Experience working in manufacturing industry supporting corporate functions, commercial, operational, and technical functions.
  • Prior experience building and implementing Structured On-the-Job Training (S-OJT) programs, developing training and instructional content for UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HR technologies, preferred.
  • Prior experience developing training programs supporting Quality Management Systems, Lean Manufacturing principles including Standard Work, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HR technology, Shared Services, and modern HR operating models, preferred.
