Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Candidates must be flexible to support occasional evening training sessions and limited weekend coverage as needed. This position is primarily onsite, with potential flexibility for one remote workday per week after onboarding.

This role will help drive engaging training experiences while supporting operational excellence across learning programs.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to lead onboarding and employee training initiatives for a growing organization. This individual will oversee orientation programs, required annual learning activities, and training operations while ensuring employees receive a strong and consistent learning experience from day one.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learning, facilitation, and training coordination, along with the ability to manage schedules, support compliance requirements, and provide mentorship to team members within the learning function.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate employee onboarding and annual training initiatives
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Monitor training completion metrics and generate reports to support compliance goals
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and operational support to learning team members
  • Manage training calendars, logistics, and scheduling across departments
  • Troubleshoot learner issues related to training access, technology, and participation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and improve learning outcomes
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of training materials and curriculum content
  • Promote a positive and supportive learning environment for employees at all levels

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, or related areas
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating onboarding and employee development programs
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training best practices
  • Experience supporting compliance-driven training programs preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience utilizing LMS platforms, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or facilitation/coaching credentials are a plus

Additional Details:
  • Daily training sessions are primarily conducted during morning hours, with occasional afternoon sessions
  • Evening training support may occasionally be required between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Limited weekend support may be required based on training schedules
  • Average onboarding class sizes range from 10-12 employees
  • Limited regional travel may be required; valid driver's license and reliable transportation are needed
  • Candidates must have demonstrated experience working with adult learners and facilitating professional training programs
