Position: Talent Development Program Specialist
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a dynamic Corporate Talent Development Program Specialist to support and lead the execution of enterprise learning and talent development initiatives. Working closely with the Talent Development Director, this role is responsible for delivering impactful programs that enhance employee capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support organizational growth.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience in learning and development, including the design and delivery of corporate training programs. In addition, demonstrated expertise in program management, proficiency with learning technologies, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
This is an exciting opportunity for a development-focused professional who is passionate about learning, program management, and driving meaningful employee experiences.
What You'll Do:
Learning & Development Program Delivery
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of company-wide learning programs, including needs assessments, content development, vendor management, communications, and logistics.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to improve program effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR partners to assess development needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.

Talent Development Initiatives
  • Deliver and support enterprise-wide talent programs such as leadership development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new talent programs and enhancements to existing initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen talent development strategies based on internal data and external benchmarking.

Learning Technology & Program Management
  • Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies to support program delivery, tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate training records and support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Measure and evaluate program effectiveness using feedback, data analytics, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Research, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and internal analysis to identify trends and opportunities for program evolution.
  • Develop and manage documentation, processes, and tools that support consistent, high-quality program delivery.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to deliver high-quality development solutions.
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the HR function through strong communication and collaboration.

What You Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in learning, talent development, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong program management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Experience designing and delivering learning and talent development programs in a corporate environment.
    • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies.
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with strong facilitation capabilities.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements.
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and HRIS systems.
    • Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
