Job description

Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Learning & Development Intern to support RevGen training and AI fluency programs. You will collaborate cross-functionally to design product training, audit knowledge assets, and develop AI-ready content that empowers our global teams. If you love technology and adult learning-we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

The Learning & Development Intern is a key contributor within the Global Enablement department, embedded under the Revenue Generation division. This role supports the design and delivery of revenue-focused learning programs - including product training for Partner Account Managers (PAMs), Solutions Engineering bridge training, and Demo Excellence initiatives - while also contributing to enterprise AI fluency programs, content management strategies, and internal organizational learning experiences. A core objective of this role is to help Geotab's commercial teams accelerate performance through effective learning solutions, while simultaneously supporting the broader workforce's capability development in areas such as AI adoption, knowledge management, and organizational consulting.

The opportunity:
  • 8+ month work-term beginning September 2026.
  • Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.
  • Your first week at Geotab begins with 'GEO Launch' - a one-week Employee Orientation. Click here to learn more!
  • Learn more about the Geotab Campus Program here.
  • This posting is for an existing vacancy.
How you'll make an impact:
  • Support the design and delivery of product training and "bridge" content for Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and Solutions Engineering teams to close technical gaps and accelerate deal progression.
  • Assist in the delivery of AI fluency programs and learning frameworks, helping employees adopt internal AI tools (GIA) and equipping sales teams with AI-powered conversation skills.
  • Conduct audits of existing knowledge assets and apply content taxonomies to ensure learning materials are accurate, discoverable, and "AI-ready" across the organization.
  • Utilize tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or E-learning authoring software (e.g., Articulate) to create job aids, microlearning, and visual assets based on adult learning principles.
  • Help operationalize onboarding programs for new Revenue Generation hires to reduce "time-to-first-deal" and ensure new employees are ramped efficiently.
  • Use data analytics to measure program effectiveness, reporting on engagement metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement in learning solutions.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted
  • Foundational knowledge of instructional design frameworks, adult learning theory, and experience design principles for diverse audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar) to create engaging digital learning content.
  • Basic understanding of revenue team workflows, sales training principles, and how learning solutions support commercial performance.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms such as MyLearning or equivalent for publishing, tracking, and reporting on learning activity.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent for producing visual and multimedia learning assets.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems and content governance practices for organizing and maintaining learning content.
  • Basic understanding of user experience and interface design principles as applied to digital learning content and learner journeys.
  • Comfort with AI-powered productivity platforms (e.g., GIA, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar) and a keen interest in how AI is transforming workplace learning and commercial performance.
  • Ability to use data analytics and reporting tools to measure content engagement, learning effectiveness, and program ROI.
  • Curiosity and willingness to research and experiment with new tools and platforms relevant to learning, enablement, and automation.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, Product, Marketing, and Corporate Communications.
  • Proactive self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and seeks out learning opportunities independently.
If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
