Position: Product Development Intern/Co-op
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: 4 months
Date: September 8 - December 18, 2026
Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada

Education Recommendations:
Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

You're a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Advanced understanding of optimization algorithms and methods.
  • Fundamental understanding of optical communication systems, photonic integrated components, and electronic circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with system-level optical communication hardware.
  • Proficiency in high-speed optical and electrical test equipment.
  • Programming experience in MATLAB and Python.

As Part of the Team You Will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DSP ASICs, analog high-speed ASICs, and optics for next-generation coherent pluggable modules.
  • Develop and simulate algorithms to enhance system-level performance across innovative projects.

  • Build and maintain lab setups for calibration, characterization, and testing of advanced optical systems.
