Location: Las Vegas, NV (onsite, in office M-F)
Type: Contract to Hire! 
Department: Human Resources / Leadership Development

Position Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking a highly organized and proactive Leadership Development Specialist to support leadership training, talent development programs, and organizational learning initiatives for a growing corporate organization.

This role serves as the operational backbone of the Leadership Development team, coordinating programs, managing logistics, supporting executive-level scheduling, and administering learning platforms including Workday HCM. The ideal candidate brings a blend of executive assistant, project coordination, event planning, and learning & development experience, along with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting strategic initiatives while owning the day-to-day execution that keeps leadership development programs running smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesLearning & Development Program Support
  • Serve as a power user and administrator for Workday HCM Learning and Talent modules and other learning platforms.
  • Support the maintenance, organization, and continuous improvement of learning and leadership development programs.
  • Create, update, and distribute training materials, guides, presentations, agendas, and participant resources.
  • Develop visually engaging learning resources using Canva and presentation software.
  • Coordinate with Training, Communications, Marketing, and other business teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across development initiatives.
  • Assist with tracking program participation, progress, and key performance metrics.
Program & Event Coordination
  • Coordinate logistics for leadership development programs, workshops, conferences, and training events.
  • Manage venue arrangements, vendor coordination, attendee communications, and event materials.
  • Provide onsite support during events, including setup, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Collect participant feedback and support continuous program improvement efforts.
  • Maintain inventories of training materials and program supplies.
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate program records and documentation.
Executive & Administrative Support
  • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and scheduling for leadership development leaders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and detailed itineraries.
  • Assist with expense processing, correspondence, and departmental communications.
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Handle administrative functions including document management, data entry, reporting, and process coordination.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting executives, coordinating programs/events, or providing project support.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Office 365.
  • Advanced experience creating presentations, training materials, and visual content using Canva.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management programs.
  • Experience administering Workday Learning and Talent modules.
  • Experience with Blanchard Exchange.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with Articulate Rise 360.
  • Experience utilizing Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting.
