You will use computer or tablet technology as needed to document activities and communicate important information. Thur 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with access control and visitor direction as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, hazards, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
