Technical Writer I
What You Will Do
- Research and understand processes, working with engineers and supporting team.
- Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation including work instructions, procedures, and training materials.
- Organize and present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Follow established documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
- Revise documentation based on feedback from reviewers and stakeholders.
- Assist in updating existing documentation for changes related to parts, processes, or procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather information to ensure accuracy.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive, and user focused documentation include work instructions and procedures.
- Research and understand processes by working with subject matter experts (SMEs) and reviewing engineering specifications in order to complete documentation.
- Manage documentation projects with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and quality requirements are met.
- Improve documentation structure, usability, and formatting using best practices.
- Edit and revise content created by junior writers and other contributors.
- Organize and present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Follow established documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
- Assist in updating existing documentation for changes related to parts, processes, or procedures as needed.
- Provide recommendations on documentation tools, process, and content strategy improvements.

What You Bring
Core Qualifications

ITAR Compliance

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for the Technical Writer I position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. The expected salary range for the Technical Writer II position is $70,000-$85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
