Technical Writer I
What You Will Do
- Research and understand processes, working with engineers and supporting team.
- Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation including work instructions, procedures, and training materials.
- Organize and present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Follow established documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
- Revise documentation based on feedback from reviewers and stakeholders.
- Assist in updating existing documentation for changes related to parts, processes, or procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather information to ensure accuracy.
What You Bring
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structure processes
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in production injection molding environment
- Experience with photography and image/video editing.

Technical Writer II
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive, and user focused documentation include work instructions and procedures.
- Research and understand processes by working with subject matter experts (SMEs) and reviewing engineering specifications in order to complete documentation.
- Manage documentation projects with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and quality requirements are met.
- Improve documentation structure, usability, and formatting using best practices.
- Edit and revise content created by junior writers and other contributors.
- Organize and present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Follow established documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
- Assist in updating existing documentation for changes related to parts, processes, or procedures as needed.
- Provide recommendations on documentation tools, process, and content strategy improvements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather information to ensure accuracy.
What You Bring
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4+ years of professional technical writing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear and accessible information
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience in a fast paced production injection molding environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to create diagrams or visuals using tools like Viso, Lucidchar, or Figma.
- Experience in photography and image/video editing.
- Analytical and detail oriented mindset

ITAR Compliance
Our facility contains information and materials subject to the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, certain roles may require verification defined by ITAR regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for the Technical Writer I position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. The expected salary range for the Technical Writer II position is $70,000-$85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
