Job Title: Junior Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Description

We''re looking for a junior software engineer who can help build production applications powered by agentic AI. You''ll work primarily in Python, designing and integrating APIs and shipping features that incorporate LLM capabilities into real software systems.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience

• 0 – 2 years of software engineering experience; internships, co-ops, and substantial personal/open-source projects count

• Solid Python fundamentals: writing clean, testable code, working with common tooling (git, virtual environments, debugging), and reading others'' code

• Experience building or integrating with REST APIs, e.g., experience in designing endpoints (FastAPI, Flask, Django), consuming third-party APIs, handling authentication, pagination, and/or error cases

• Basic software engineering hygiene: version control, code review, writing tests, and working in a team workflow

• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts — tool/function calling, prompt chaining, or agent loops — demonstrated through coursework, hackathons, personal projects, or work experience. Exposure to frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or similar is a strong plus

• Some hands-on experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models) as part of a larger application Bonus

• Exposure to databases (SQL or NoSQL), caching, or message queues

• Experience with async/concurrent programming in Python

• Familiarity with RAG concepts: embeddings, vector databases, retrieval pipelines
