Junior Project Manager (Construction)

Description
The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation through completion. This role assists senior project managers in managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare submittals
• Prepare close out documentation: O&M'S, As builds, warranty letters & net promoter
• Process and track Change Orders
• Analyze positive cash flow
• Assist with scheduling manpower
• Manage small projects initiation through completion
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on status.
• Identify and mitigate risks and resolve project-related issues as they arise.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and reports.
• Support resource allocation and task prioritization.
• Foster clear communication within the project team and across departments.
• Visit job sites weekly partnering with technicians and customers and general contractors
• Follow and enforce proper PPE and safety protocol
• Attend Project update meeting at customer sites
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, team support, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Valid VA Driver's License.
