Job description

About the Role:
FreshTax is expanding rapidly and we are hiring Junior Case Managers to support our growing Case Management department.
In this role, you will assist Senior Case Managers by organizing client files, gathering documents, preparing IRS forms, and communicating with clients during the early stages of the tax resolution process.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in tax resolution and grow into a Case Manager position.
You will receive hands-on training and real experience working with active IRS cases.
Important: This is a 100% in-office role at our headquarters in Santa Ana, CA.
Compensation:
  • $18.00 โ€“ $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Performance bonuses based on productivity and quality
What You'll Do:
Case File Support:
  • Assist Senior Case Managers with active client files
  • Request, organize, and track client documents
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Upload and manage files in the CRM system
Client Communication:
  • Make outbound calls to collect documents and provide updates
  • Answer basic client questions regarding their case progress
  • Help clients complete required IRS forms and paperwork
Case Progression:
  • Maintain detailed case notes in the CRM
  • Follow up on missing documents or pending items
  • Assist in preparing case files for IRS submissions
What You'll Need:
  • Full-time availability (Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM)
  • 6+ months of experience in administration, customer service, or a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable learning new systems and CRM platforms
  • Detail-oriented with a strong client-focused mindset
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
