iTekz is a fast-growing technology integration firm supporting high-end construction projects across residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. We specialize in low-voltage systems, AV, access control, security, and IT infrastructure. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and support project execution from planning to closeout.
Position Summary

The Junior Project Manage  will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and field teams to support all aspects of project management, helping to coordinate resources, track progress, manage documentation, and ensure project deadlines and standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction background looking to grow into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination of ongoing projects across multiple sites
  • Track material orders and reconcile inventory against project specifications and bills of materials
  • Prepare and support RFIs, submittals, and change order documentation
  • Serve as a point of contact with vendors, contractors, and clients to obtain quotes, provide updates, and resolve clarifications
  • Attend project meetings, take detailed notes, and track action items through to completion
  • Maintain organized project folders, drawing sets, and documentation logs
  • Assist in assembling project closeout packages and client handover documentation
  • Travel to project sites as needed to support field teams and monitor progress, including occasional domestic travel for out-of-state projects
Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or low-voltage project coordination
  • Solid understanding of construction terminology, project documentation, and project lifecycle phases
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, ConstructConnect) is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with clients and vendors
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites regularly, including occasional multi-day domestic travel
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
