Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance


Work Schedule: Fulltime, Onsite daily.


Role Overview:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the management of the flow of resources between the point of origin and the point of destination in order to meet contract requirements. You will run a warehouse that stores, sends, and received Information Technology hardware for use by DoD customers. It involves supervising the integration of information flow, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and often security.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

Specific Skillset

  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
  • Experience with material handling, inventory control, and warehousing operations
  • Proficiency in transportation coordination and resource allocation
  • Ability to integrate and manage information flow effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with packaging and production logistics
  • Ability to ensure security compliance in logistics operations

Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing warehousing operations within the Department of War and preferably Department of the Navy. 
  • Expertise and experience using the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system 
  • Experience with Department of the Navy systems and their associated warehousing needs, ensuring efficient and compliant operations. 
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives. 
  • Experience managing and motivate warehouse teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to safety standards. 
  • Knowledgeable in risk management policies and assessment methodologies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to warehouse operations.
