About the Role
At Keel Point, our work begins and ends with the families we serve. As a Wealth Planning Associate, you'll be an essential member of an advisory team, helping clients move toward their most important financial goals. This is a client-focused, relationship-driven role on a growing wealth management team.
You'll partner closely with our advisors to prepare for client meetings, keep the planning process moving, and deliver the attentive, high-touch service our clients count on. What You'll Do
- Partner with advisors to prepare client review materials and bring together the information needed for meaningful planning conversations.
- Support post-meeting follow-up by maintaining accurate client notes and seeing every action item through to completion.
- Drive plan action items forward in line with our service standards, debriefing with the advisor as needed.
- Collaborate with our Client Service Representatives (CSRs) to respond to client requests and uphold the firm's service model.
- Master and actively use Keel Point's technology platforms, including Orion, Wealthscape, Wealthbox, MoneyGuidePro, and RightCapital.
- Prepare performance and asset allocation reports that support timely, thorough client reviews.
- Coordinate client and prospect scheduling and communications to ensure seamless, professional experience.
- Enter and maintain client data accurately and completely across multiple platforms.
- Contribute to team initiatives such as tax-season support and client appreciation efforts.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; a concentration in financial planning, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a registered investment advisor (RIA) setting - or comparable internship or coursework in the financial planning field.
- A genuine interest in financial planning and a desire to work directly in service of clients and families. Interest in or progress toward the CFPยฎ designation is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort using Microsoft Office.
- A client-first mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities, both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to support research is a plus.
