Position Summary

SCS Financial is looking for an Associate to join the Client Service Solutions team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who would like to contribute to one of the firm's core business management teams. The Client Service Solutions team is responsible for many of the integral operating functions that support the client service team. As a member of this group, the Associate will participate in the support of client relationships, organization and maintenance of client information, cashiering and money movements, and facilitation of various firmwide support functions. The Associate will also regularly interface with numerous teams within the firm to support client relationships. We are seeking candidates who are well organized, detail‐focused, energetic, and team‐oriented. The right candidate is a self‐starter with a strong work ethic who has excellent communication skills and the ability to think critically.

This role can be located in Boston, MA; Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Daily Cashiering: process and reconcile money movements on behalf of clients with strict adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Interface directly with external custodian banks in the account opening and asset transfer process.
  • Lead account opening and new client onboarding project plans, including communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Maintain existing client information; ensure all necessary data and documentation is accurately captured and preserved in the Firm's database
  • Support alternative investment processing procedures on behalf of clients.
  • Work closely with other middle office teams to ensure client portfolio information is accurate and updated on a regular and timely basis.
  • Assist in all ad hoc information or report requests from advisors.
  • Participate in the enhancement of firmwide projects designed to improve the overall client experience, internal workflows, or data movement around the Firm.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in an operations role within the financial services industry preferred. Prior experience in wealth management, RIA, or family office or comparable. Internship experience will also be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi‐task
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proactive and solutions oriented; consistently willing to take initiative to solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with financial services technology – investment accounting platforms, client relationship management (CRM) tools and client reporting software
  • Experience managing processes and reviewing colleagues' work in prior roles

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000–$70,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
