AI Intern works with the Curriculum Support team to support faculty and staff in researching, testing, and implementing artificial intelligence tools in Crown's academic programs. Responsibilities include evaluating AI platforms, assisting with chatbot testing, supporting faculty training initiatives, operating AI productivity tools and researching AI pedagogy. This position offers hands-on experience at the intersection of AI and higher education. Training is provided. Ideal candidates are curious about emerging technologies, organized, and strong communicators. Preference given to students available Spring 2026, summer 2026, and the 2026-2027 academic year.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Support and Model the policies and standards of Crown College as stated in the Student Handbook and Crown Community Covenant.
  • Evidence of Christian character and a commitment to encourage others toward Christ-likeness.
  • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Must be in good standing with the college.
  • Previous experience with administrative work preferred.

  • Research emerging AI tools and platforms relevant to higher education
  • Train, test, and evaluate chatbot systems for academic and administrative use
  • Conduct research on AI pedagogy and instructional best practices
  • Assist in installing and monitoring AI indicators within course environments
  • Develop faculty training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support faculty and staff with AI-related questions (triage and documentation)
  • Assist with AI tool assessment and evaluation projects
  • Document workflows, findings, and implementation processes
