Morgan Insurance Services, LLC., part of Morgan Auto Group with over 70 auto dealerships in the state of Florida, has two openings for experienced personal lines insurance customer service reps. in the Ocala area. Our office is located in the Honda of Ocala dealership. This is an in-person position to provide support to our licensed insurance agents.
We offer competitive compensation, company paid health insurance (employee portion) and life insurance, 401K and HSA company contributions, PTO, holidays and a GREAT team to work with. We offer a professional work environment, with job training and advancement opportunities.
Our ideal candidate is friendly with professional demeanor, good communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Ultimately, a top-class insurance customer sales representative. Experience working with personal lines insurance required.
Insurance Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
1. Checks phone system voicemails multiple times per day, and disburses to team as needed
2. Checks agency management system text messages with customers multiple times per day, and disburses to team as needed
3. Checks e-fax inbox multiple times per day, and disburses to team as needed
4. Checks email info inbox multiple times per day, and disburses to team as needed
5. Checks and works incoming alerts to the agency management system
6. Answers all incoming calls to the service line, and transfers to agents as needed
7. Handles calls, emails and texts that pertain to client contact information, lienholder updates, billing, claims reporting, and general questions.
8. Processes returned mail
9. Calls customers who may have had a claim, to offer support
10. Reviews all carriers daily for updates regarding e-signatures and underwriting requirements, communicating with the insured as necessary to complete
11. Processes tasks that have been assigned by management/agents to the customer service representative, multiple times per day
12. Sends welcome letters to new customers
13. Sends follow-up emails and texts to existing customers at the 30, 60, and 90-day marks
14. Assists with renewals and rewrites as needed by the writing agent, to retain existing business
15. Sends birthday e-cards to customers
16. Solicits existing customers to cross-sell additional insurance products
17. Works on various special projects as needed for management
18. Follows communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
19. Other duties as assigned

Customer Service Representative Requirements:
High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn and navigate various software systems
Experience working as insurance customer support
20-44 licensed or willing to get certified within 60 days of employment
Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plus
