Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional support with their personal insurance needs. This role requires effective communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction to build long-lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and processing personal insurance policy changes, including auto, homeowners, and other lines of personal insurance.
  • Assist clients in understanding their coverage and options, ensuring that they have adequate protection.
  • Handle new business requests, prepare quotes, process endorsements, and manage policy renewals with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers on underwriting requests, endorsements, and claims support for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records, documenting all interactions and updates in the agency management system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and coverage enhancements to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Comply with regulatory and company standards, preserving confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • State Insurance License for personal lines or willingness to obtain one (licensing support may be provided).
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
