Job description

We are a well-established insurance agency in Brooklyn, NY seeking an experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team. This full-time, in-office role (Monday through Friday, 9-5) requires a candidate with strong knowledge of personal lines insurance, proficiency with Applied Epic, and excellent client interaction skills. The representative will work closely with multiple insurance carriers and report directly to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients primarily via phone and email, with occasional in-person meetings
  • Rate new business using multiple insurance carriers
  • Process policy renewals and endorsements efficiently
  • Coordinate with 3-5 insurance carriers routinely
  • Provide claims support and maintain accurate documentation
  • Handle data entry and maintain client accounts

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in personal lines insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Applied Epic
