Personal Lines P&C Customer Service Representative

First Independent Agency is looking for a Personal Lines – P&C Customer Service Representative for their busy office. In this position you will be responsible for the following.

Personal Lines Customer Service Representative works with peers to answer all inbound personal lines service calls. They perform service and sales for customers including but not limited to: adding/deleting/replacing vehicles, changing coverages, adding/deleting lien-holders and mortgagees, answering billing questions, verifying insurance, taking payments, cross sell, new quotes and handling other insurance questions as appropriate to service customers. Experience with AMS 360 is a plus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Retain renewal business by contacting insureds to review coverage.

Review current underwriting information in order to qualify customers for improved programs and monitor renewal premiums for excessive increases.

Develop existing accounts by attempting to provide additional coverage on existing policies or adding additional lines of business (cross-sell).

Provide company product, coverage, and rate training to other agency personnel as needed.

Assist with the development of recommended coverage for customers.

Cross selling

Assist with answering phones and other general office duties as may be required.

Provide new business quotes and sell Personal Lines P&C

Job Requirements:

Property and Casualty license Required

Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.

Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.

Must be dependable, provide timely response, and complete of work activities.

Possess the ability to perform work in a dependable, consistent, and timely manner.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
