Position Overview:
We’re seeking a personable, detail-oriented insurance professional to join our team as a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor / Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will assist clients with policy servicing, renewals, coverage questions, and new business opportunities. This is a critical client-facing role that combines customer service with account management and advisory responsibilities.


Qualifications for the Insurance Service/Sales Representative/Agent:

  • 2-20 OR 4-40 (Property & Casualty) Insurance license
  • 1 year of Personal Insurance experience is mandatory (2-4 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines products and underwriting guidelines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy with ability to quickly learn agency systems (AMS, raters, carrier portals)
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service and building relationships
  • Motivated to complete tasks and have a growth focused mindset


Responsibilities for the Insurance Personal Lines Insurance Advisor:

  • Establish relationships with current clients and future prospects, as needed
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support via inbound calls, texts, and emails
  • Review and process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Provide guidance to clients on personal lines coverages (home, auto, umbrella, etc.)
  • Quote and bind new business and cross-sell additional lines where appropriate
  • Monitor renewals and proactively reach out to clients for coverage reviews
  • Work closely with carriers to resolve underwriting issues
  • Develop insurance quotes based on client needs and follow up in order to make the sale
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success
