An inbound call center agent handles incoming calls from customers. In this job, your responsibilities are to receive calls at the call center from customers and answer questions, receive complaints, or troubleshoot. You troubleshoot both product or service issues with the customer to attempt to find a resolution. In this role, you are highly focused on customer service. Your duties can include obtaining customer information over the phone, explaining policies and products to customers, and determining a customer’s eligibility for certain programs or resolutions. Additionally, you may be responsible for maintaining communication equipment, tracking customer interactions, and meeting company standards in customer relations.
