Job Title:
IT Service Continuity Analyst
Reporting To:
Management, IT Service Delivery
Work Schedule:
Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local - Buffalo, NY
Moog's Corporate Group is hiring for an IT Service Continuity Analyst.
As the IT Service Continuity Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting IT service continuity by facilitating BIA and risk-related data collection, maintaining and updating continuity and recovery documentation, and coordinating training, exercises, and testing activities. Working closely with service and business owners and the IT Service Continuity Lead, you will help ensure continuity information is complete and reliable, and support training and testing efforts that help the organization strengthen resilience and validate readiness.
*The ideal candidate is located in the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.
To qualify for the IT Service Continuity Analyst, here is what you will need to bring with you:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in IT service continuity, business continuity, operational resilience, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, IT operations, IT risk management, or IT service management.
  • Experience working in complex, distributed IT environments with diverse infrastructure and application dependencies.
  • Experience supporting documentation, planning, testing, or analysis activities across IT services within structured processes or workflows.
  • Exposure to incident, change, or problem management processes within an ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support stakeholder understanding of continuity and recovery processes.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow structured processes, and produce accurate, complete documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and functions, building trust through consistency and clear communication.
  • Ability to remain reliable and responsive in situations where recovery support is required or likely, assisting with response activities under time-sensitive or ambiguous conditions.

It would also be beneficial if you had:
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) or similar continuity planning platforms.
  • Experience supporting continuity or disaster recovery testing, including scheduling, documentation, and corrective action tracking using established standards such as ITIL, ISO 22301, ISO 27031, NIST SP 800-34, or other operational resilience standards.
  • Experience preparing materials or evidence for governance committees, risk groups, audit teams, or senior leadership reviews.
  • Experience updating and maintaining continuity-related templates, procedures, or workflow documentation under direction from program leadership.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, BCI/DRII entry-level certifications, AMBCI/MBCI, COBIT, or ISACA certifications (CISM/CRISC).

As an IT Service Continuity Analyst, you will...
  • Collect, organize, and compile data, metrics, and supporting documentation for program readiness, key indicators, risks, recovery gaps, and improvement initiatives, preparing reporting materials for the Lead's review and submission to IT Governance Committee.
  • Prepare evidence, documentation, and supporting materials for audit, customer, and regulatory requests, escalating issues to the Lead as needed.
  • Coordinate and maintain Service Continuity work items within the Agile toolset by ensuring tasks are properly documented, updated, and aligned to program objectives and progressing as planned, and by communicating progress, dependencies, and required inputs across teams to support timely execution and advance the program roadmap.
  • Support the BCM planning tool through user access assistance, second-level end-user support, and creation and maintenance of workflow-ready records to ensure templates, procedures, and documentation remain accurate and aligned to program needs.
  • Support BIA and risk assessment activities by facilitating the collection and documentation of input data from service and business owners, ensuring the capture of RTO/RPO, criticality, interdependencies, and key risk factors such as impact, likelihood, and mitigating controls within the workflow.
  • Support IT teams in developing and maintaining continuity and recovery plans by ensuring documentation is complete, current, and aligned to standard requirements, providing practical guidance and best practices, and coordinating with stakeholders to address cross-functional dependencies.
  • Support delivery of training and awareness activities by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and assisting IT teams in understanding and applying "assess, plan, exercise, and respond" processes.
  • Support recovery exercises and tests by coordinating schedules, preparing and distributing materials, documenting activities and results, capturing observations and improvement opportunities, and recording corrective actions in the BCM platform.
  • Support recovery response efforts by remaining readily available when recovery is required or likely to be required, assisting with documentation of response activities, and providing operational support under the direction of the Lead.
