Job description

The Information Technology Manager (IT) is responsible for overseeing the IT department's daily operations, managing the organization's technology infrastructure, and ensuring the secure and efficient functioning of all IT systems. This role involves strategic planning and resource management, to support the company’s technological needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

As an Information Technology Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all IT systems.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct risk assessments and implement necessary controls.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT help desk, ensuring timely resolution of IT tickets and providing excellent support to staff.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and industry best practices.

Preferred skills include:

  • Experience in managing IT help desk operations and handling IT tickets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and Power Shell scripting
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and compliance requirements.
