Job description

Manager, Global HRIS (IPO Readiness & Transformation Focus)

Company Description We are a rapidly growing, $2.5B global chemical manufacturing company. From building products to agricultural applications and more, we are applying advanced technology to solve complex product and environmental performance challenges. As we embark on our journey to become a publicly-traded entity, we are expanding our team to build a best-in-class, public company-ready function. We are currently seeking talent for a leadership role in our Alpharetta, GA location.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Global HRIS to serve as the strategic bridge between Human Resources, IT, and Finance. The ideal candidate will modernize our human capital management systems, ensuring seamless integration with our broader enterprise digital transformation (including our SAP S/4HANA financial environment).

A primary focus of this role will be preparing our HR and payroll data systems for an upcoming IPO. This leader will be responsible for establishing robust data governance, automating HR workflows, and implementing strict SOX-compliant controls around employee data, compensation, and systems access.

Job Responsibilities

  • IPO Readiness & SOX Compliance:
    • Design, document, and enforce IT General Controls (ITGC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) within the HRIS environment to meet strict public company audit standards.
    • Partner with Internal Audit and the Corporate Controller's organization to ensure compensation, headcount, and payroll data feeds are accurate and fully compliant with SOX 404 requirements.
    • Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols across all HR technology platforms.
  • System Strategy & Optimization:
    • Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert for the HRIS platform (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG), evaluating current utilization to identify gaps and implement optimizations.
    • Lead the implementation of new HR modules (e.g., performance management, advanced compensation, talent acquisition) that drive business value and operational scalability.
    • Maintain data integrity across multiple legacy systems during the enterprise transition period.
  • Cross-Functional Integration & Automation:
    • Serve as a liaison between HR, IT, and Finance, ensuring alignment on goals and cross-departmental technology projects.
    • Drive the automation of critical HR and payroll processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual workload, and eliminate data entry errors.
    • Partner with the Global SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) team to ensure employee master data aligns with enterprise financial reporting structures.
  • Reporting & People Analytics:
    • Develop and automate complex HR reporting, including global headcount, turnover, and compensation variance analysis.
    • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create executive dashboards, providing leadership with real-time, actionable insights for decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in HRIS administration, architecture, and implementation within a global, multi-entity environment. Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in tier-one HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and reporting/visualization tools (like Power BI).
  • Compliance Expertise: Strong familiarity with global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and proven experience managing HR systems within a SOX-compliant, pre-IPO, or publicly traded environment.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and automation. Strong project management skills with the ability to communicate complex, technical system concepts clearly to non-technical HR and Finance stakeholders.
