Job Description:
  • Job Summary
    We are looking for an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead and support strategic Workday initiatives across the organization, with a primary focus on Payroll, Benefits, and Time Tracking.
    The role will play a critical part in supporting and evolving our recently implemented Workday Payroll solution across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, ensuring system stability, continuous improvement, and effective operational support for our North American businesses. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, IT teams, and external implementation and support partners, fostering strong collaboration and ensuring the successful delivery of business objectives.
    Beyond project delivery, this position will contribute to the ongoing transformation of HR Operations through process optimization, standardization, and the adoption of innovative technologies. A key objective of the HRIS function is to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and robotic process solutions to improve efficiency, enhance employee experience, and reduce manual effort across HR and payroll processes.
    Strong stakeholder management skills, vendor coordination experience, and the ability to build trusted relationships with HR, Payroll, and external partners are critical for success in this role.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end HRIS projects, from business requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage Workday implementation and enhancement projects, with a strong focus on:
    • Payroll
    • Benefits Administration
    • Time Tracking and Absence Management
    • Reporting
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
  • Ensure project delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes through system optimization and best practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define future-state processes and system capabilities.
  • Support Workday releases, feature adoption, and roadmap planning.
  • Oversee testing strategies, data migration activities, integrations, and change management plans.
  • Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates to leadership and governance bodies.
  • Promote the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and automation solutions, across HR Operations and HR Systems.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing HRIS or HR technology projects. Proven experience leading Workday implementations or major Workday enhancement projects. Strong knowledge of HR processes and system design. Experience managing global, multi-country projects. High level of English. Spanish language proficiency will be highly valued Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project governance skills.
