We're hiring multiple student workers, and your experience will be shaped by your interests, strengths, career goals, and departmental needs.
What You'll Do
As part of the HR team, you'll perform a variety of functions, including:
  • Being the face of HR by welcoming students, employees, and campus visitors
  • Supporting daily operations by answering calls and guiding inquiries
  • Learning the fundamentals of HR services, including benefits, payroll, hiring, and records and responding to customer inquiries
  • Working with real HR systems to scan, file, organize, and audit confidential documents
  • Designing flyers, posters, and promotional materials using tools like Canva
  • Managing inventory and coordinating orders for office and promotional supplies
  • Playing a key role in major campus events like New Employee Orientation, Staff Development Conference, Boo Bash (UHD's Annual Benefits Fair), and others
  • Participating in trainings and professional development opportunities designed to grow your skills
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
