Deployment Strategist - AI Healthcare & Software Implementation

New York, NY • On-site

$135K - $180K/yr

Full-time

Posted 7 days ago

Job description

Salary range: $135K - $180K
Location: New York City, NY
Visa Sponsorship Details: Open to visa transfers (e.g. OPT, H1B transfers)
On-site work policy: 5 days in-office in New York City, NY
About this role
We are looking for a Deployment Strategist with 2-5 years of experience to own end-to-end customer deployments at a fast-growing AI healthcare startup. You'll lead complex implementations for Fortune 500 healthcare organizations, managing stakeholders, timelines, and project plans while partnering with a technical counterpart who handles the engineering side. This is a foundational hire at an 11-person team that just raised a $10M seed from top-tier investors and signed seven deals in the past week.
What will you be doing?
  • Leading a panel of 3-5 customer implementations from kickoff through go-live, managing project plans, timelines, and financial outcomes
  • Managing complex stakeholder relationships across large healthcare organizations with multiple decision-makers
  • Running kickoff calls, weekly syncs, and stakeholder check-ins-serving as the customer's primary non-technical point of contact
  • Building and refining the implementation playbook from scratch as one of the first hires in this function
  • Working in a dyad with a forward-deployed engineer, owning the project management and stakeholder side while they handle technical execution

Key Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience running complex software implementations, customer onboarding, or project management (consulting, chief of staff, or deployment roles at high-growth startups are strong signals)
  • High-agency, high-octane personality-someone who thrives in ambiguity, communicates exceptionally well, and builds relationships quickly
  • Strong detail orientation and project management track record: managing multi-workstream plans, wrangling resources, and holding deadlines
  • Semi-technical fluency: knows what an API is, understands how LLMs work at a high level, and can speak intelligently about technical products
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC for 5 days/week in-office (relocation support available)
