We’re seeking a dynamic Healthcare Applications Manager with deep Meditech or other EHR expertise to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of clinical and administrative software systems for a health center in Watertown, NY.
  • This is a high-impact role ideal for a hands-on professional eager to drive digital transformation in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing support of healthcare software systems, with a strong focus on Meditech.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and administrative teams to ensure systems align with operational needs.
  • Manage application upgrades, patches, and system integrations.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to application support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards in all application processes.
  • Serve as a project lead for system improvements and expansions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in healthcare software implementation and support.
  • Strong proficiency with Meditech or other EHR systems is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with proven problem-solving skills and strong judgment.
