Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Software Implementation Specialist to join our growing team remotely. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Implementation Specialist with strong energy efficiency knowledge and experience to support the continued growth of our Resource Innovations software professional services team. As Software Implementation Specialist you will design and implement technical solutions for utilities and energy sectors, focusing on Demand Side Management, Transportation Electrification, and clean energy technologies. Analyze business needs to tailor Resource Innovations' SaaS-based solutions, optimize workflows, and enhance system efficiency. Provide expert consulting on product configuration, implementation, and ongoing support while developing technical documentation, conducting gap analyses, and ensuring seamless software integration. This work enhances operational efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance for utilities, improving Resource Innovations' customer programs delivery. By streamlining system implementation and reducing manual inefficiencies through automation, it drives cost savings, performance improvements, and data-driven decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Configure and implement enterprise SaaS solutions supporting EE, transportation electrification, and other clean energy programs.
  • Partner with clients, Software Implementation Leads, and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, support solution design, and deliver successful software implementations.
  • Configure application features, workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and client-specific functionality using low-code/no-code and enterprise SaaS platforms, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, configuration documentation, and other implementation deliverables.
  • Support system integrations, REST APIs, ETL/data mapping, data migration, user authentication, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments, production releases, and post-launch support.
  • Troubleshoot application, configuration, integration, and data issues while working closely with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system usability, and implementation efficiency.
  • Build expertise in the Resource Innovations' SaaS platforms and implementation methodologies while providing high-quality client support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS, low-code/no-code, CRM, ERP, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience working directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in sustainability and a passion for delivering technology solutions that create meaningful business impact.

Preferred skills, education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience configuring enterprise SaaS applications using low-code/no-code platforms, SQL, JavaScript, and business process automation.
  • Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, ETL/data mapping, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Experience in the utility, clean energy, or regulated industries is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $70,000-$96,000 USD. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
