Responsibilities
  • Master Deluxeโ€™s suite of localization tools, ensuring a deep understanding of their functionalities and optimal use by end users across global teams
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing tools and workflows, driving increased efficiency, enhanced functionality, and streamlined operations
  • Act as a liaison between product development, engineering, data science, and operations teams
  • Conduct research and experimentation to optimize Large Language Model (LLM) prompts for localization tasks
  • Collaborate with product development and key stakeholders to prioritize the development and deployment of new tools and features
  • Develop, document, and refine workflows to operationalize new technologies
  • Analyze current localization workflows to identify opportunities for technical innovation
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in film, localization, and AI technologies
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and market solutions that could enhance localization processes
  • Analyze operational metrics to uncover trends and drive continuous process improvement
  • Manage and mentor two Localization Technology Specialists
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Linguistics, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of audio/video editing software (ProTools, Premiere, Avid, Resolve, etc.)
  • Multilingual skills are highly valued, with fluency in languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Russian, or Japanese considered a significant asset
  • Experience in localization, technology, or related industries
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Prior direct management experience, a plus, but is not mandatory
  • Ability to learn and work independently on long term projects
  • Ability to collaborate and work with people in different countries and time zones
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and independent problem-solving skills
