Overview
The Knights of Columbus Marketing and Customer Experience Team is seeking a French (Canada) Website Content & Localization Specialist to assist with the migration, translation and QA of content to the new French website.
Reporting to the Localization Manager, this role sits at the intersection of Marketing, IT, Communications, Insurance Operations and Fraternal Mission.
The role is responsible not only for assisting with the new KofC.org web experience, but also for ensuring that French-language content advances enterprise priorities, supports revenue-generating business units and delivers a first-class digital experience aligned with the Knights of Columbus mission.
This position begins as a six-month contract with clearly defined performance benchmarks and potential conversion to full-time based on measurable results set forth during the contract.
Core Responsibilities
  • Work hands-on to successfully assist with the migration of all French-language website content into the new digital experience platform, ensuring accuracy, completeness, functionality and brand alignment
  • Assist with linguistic quality assurance, functional testing and user acceptance testing for French-language web pages, forms, assets, and applications
  • Ensure compliance with Knights of Columbus French (Canada) style guidelines and approved terminology across faith, fraternal, insurance and investment content
  • Identify content gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities to adapt, co-create and refine French-language content to improve clarity, cultural relevance and customer experience for French-speaking audiences
  • Collaborate with UI/UX and SEO teams to ensure French metadata, schema and on-page parameters meet current standards
  • Track and report on migration progress, quality metrics, risks and remediation plans to leadership

Skills Qualifications
Required:
  • Native or near-native proficiency in French (Canada) and professional fluency in English
  • Demonstrated experience in website migration, CMS implementation or digital platform transitions
  • Strong understanding of localization workflows, translation memory and terminology management
  • Experience conducting linguistic QA and functional testing in multilingual environments
  • Strong copy adaptation and editing skills in a structured brand environment
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices in multilingual digital ecosystems
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills

Preferred:
  • Experience working in financial services, insurance or mission-driven nonprofit organizations
  • Knowledge of Catholic Church terminology and faith-based communications
  • Experience with Optimizely, Marketo, DAM or enterprise CMS platforms

Education
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Localization, Translation, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum three years of experience in localization, multilingual digital marketing, website management or customer service

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Localization, International Marketing, Digital Strategy or Customer Experience
  • Formal training or certification in localization project management
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of the teaching of the Catholic Church and hierarchy as well as the Knights of Columbus
  • Desire to work on a creative, collaborative and data-driven team
  • Obsessed with bringing the best Customer Experience to local markets.
