COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Promote the learning and growth of all students and create a safe and effective classroom environment with cultural proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to make a positive impact on student achievement by supporting teachers in their efforts to maximize the effectiveness of their instructional practice through the integration of technology.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with administrators, teachers, and other school staff to strengthen all aspects of the instructional program.
  • Perform relevant professional tasks or duties as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or his designee.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must hold appropriate MA DESE License.
  • Successful classroom experience teaching social studies at a middle school desired.
  • Experience and knowledge of current instructional strategies desired.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
