French Speaking General Practitioner (GP)

Fully remote working

Open to GMC-registered GPs or Medical Doctors

Based in the UK - work overseas up to 8 weeks a year

Permanent/PAYE position

Minimum of 3 full workdays but ideally 4 or 5 days a week (to include a Saturday or Sunday)

Fluent French & English language skills, written and verbal, are required

Languages Fluency in French and English is essential Company Background Our client is a UK based digital healthcare company delivering accessible, patient focused healthcare through innovative online services. The company provides online GP consultations, medical diagnostics, and prescription treatments, allowing patients to access high-quality healthcare without the need for an in-person practice visit.

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced French speaking General Practitioner (GP) to join a growing Clinical Team and help deliver safe, effective, and high-quality digital healthcare. This is an exciting, 3-5 day-a-week opportunity for a GMC-registered GP who is looking to practise medicine in a flexible, technology-enabled environment. You will review online patient consultations, make autonomous evidence-based clinical decisions, and support patients through their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and assessing asynchronous patient consultations, with a focus on weight management and other digital healthcare services
  • Assessing patient suitability for GLP-1 therapies and other treatments in line with clinical guidelines and prescribing pathways.
  • Requesting additional clinical information where required to support safe and appropriate prescribing decisions
  • Prescribing medication safely in accordance with GMC guidance, UK legislation, and clinical protocols
  • Monitoring ongoing treatment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey
  • Participating in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient pathways and service delivery
  • Providing clinical input into new treatments, services, and digital healthcare solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fluency in French and English (written and verbal)
  • GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK.
  • CCT in General Practice.
  • Strong clinical knowledge gained through UK General Practice experience.
  • Excellent understanding of evidence-based medicine and safe prescribing.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
  • Confidence making autonomous clinical decisions within a remote healthcare environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Experience using digital platforms and electronic clinical systems.
  • A genuine interest in innovation and improving healthcare through technology.
  • Have full UK with full right to work (if on visa, we will need to know visa type and expiry)

Salary & Benefits £100,000 pa pro rata over a 3-5 day week. eg. for a 4 day week, the pro rata salary would be c£80,000. £100% remote working option possible. London office available if preferred.
